The award-winning documentary feature film PUT YOUR SOUL ON YOUR HAND AND WALK directed by Sepideh Farsi, gains momentum with US theatrical dates announced by Kino Lorber today. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2025, and has since played to sold out audiences and emotional responses at the Toronto, Karlovy Vary, Melbourne, Busan and New York Film Festivals.
Theatrical opening dates for PUT YOUR SOUL ON YOUR HAND AND WALK are as follows:
New York - November 5 exclusively at IFC CENTER;
Los Angeles - November 14 at Laemmle Monica and Laemmle Glendale;
Chicago - November 21 at Gene Siskel Film Center
National rollout will continue throughout the year.
PUT YOUR SOUL ON YOUR HAND AND WALK is directed by Sepideh Farsi featuring Fatma Hassona. The film is a Palestine and France co-production produced by RÊVES D’EAU PRODUCTIONS in coproduction with 24IMAGES producers Djavad Djavahery and Annie Ohayon - Dekel. Images of Gaza are from Fatma Hassona with music by Cinna Peygahmy, sound design by Pierre Carrasco, sound editing by Leo Boisson, and filmed and edited by Sepideh Farsi.
