LoveShackFancy FW26 Review: Lace, Florals, and Fantasy at New York Fashion Week

LoveShackFancy’s Fall–Winter 2026 collection felt like stepping into a snow-dusted romance novel. Rebecca Hessel Cohen leaned into the house’s signature femininity—ruffled trims, bows—but tempered the sweetness with richer textures and cooler-season depth.

Billowing chiffon dresses were layered under plush knits and tailored outerwear, creating a softer, more grounded silhouette than seasons past. Lace felt less sugary and more deliberate, while the palette shifted from sugary pastels to antique creams, dusty mauves, and deeper berry tones. The result was romantic, but not naïve.

What stood out most was the balance: LoveShackFancy maintained its whimsical DNA while subtly maturing it for fall. There was still fantasy, but it felt city-ready—less garden party, more uptown heroine in winter. In a week often driven by sharp minimalism, the brand made a case for unabashed prettiness with polish and purpose.
