Javier “Harvey” Guillén is an American actor. He is best known for his role as the human familiar Guillermo de la Cruz in the 2019 television series What We Do in the Shadows.
Please desire your character on the show?
George is a genius. He's an amazing hacker and computer whiz. He is Lindy's (VICTORIA JUSTICES) confident and will do anything for her…even if that might not always be legal…haha. He loves her like a sister.
What the stand moment so far filming?
The most fun part of filming the show so far is that we get to shoot in NYC .. WHICH I LOOOVE. the cast and I have a great time in the city and love exploring all the city and nearby cities have to offer.. so much good stuff
What's a full day like on set?
A full day set would be going to hair and makeup. Chatting with the cast …running lines while we get our hair did…haha… then we go rehear the scene. Then they set up the cameras. Last looks. Then we shoot the scenes. Maybe a costume change … back to touch ups and same formula… till we get all the shots for the day… during lunch we hang with the cast and crew… and above all we always have a good time.
Who or what is your inspiration as an actor?
I really like AMY SEDARIS for comedy… And love Kate Winslet and of course Meryl …haha.
What's on your bucket list?
I want to be on a private island with clear water beaches and all my closest friends and family just relax and have a week of fun…haha.
What music are you into and or are exhausted of hearing?
I'm really into MANSIONS ON THE MOON right now…and ANY GIVEN WEEKEND
Do you admire any actors your own age?
I'M ALWAYS PROUD OF ANY ACTOR FRIENDS I SEE DOING WHAT THEY LOVE. WE LIFT EACH OTHER UP TO BE BETTER. WHICH IS AWESOME
What's it liked being a part of an amazing network like MTV?
WORKING for MTV is awesome… they are so cool … And have been great to work with…on the first day of filming they sent a cool gift to my trailer … they are super fun.
What are your plans for this year and thing else you'd like to mention?
I'm super excited to be filming different projects this year… and to share some “secret” projects coming out this year!… so stay tuned! ;)
