Rockstar Joy follows May’s In My Own Voice, which reimagined songs Kreviazuk wrote for artists including Drake, Kelly Clarkson, Kendrick Lamar and Gwen Stefani. With more than 300 million global streams and a catalogue of international hits, her two 2026 albums celebrate both the reach of her songwriting and the deeply personal voice behind it.
The release adds to an exceptionally prolific year for Kreviazuk, who is currently touring Canada with her husband, Our Lady Peace frontman Raine Maida, on their Break Your Heart Tour. Their bestselling co-memoir, I’m Going To Break Your Heart: A Rock ’n’ Roll Love Story, invites readers into the realities of building a marriage and family alongside two careers in music. Rockstar Joy carries that honesty into her solo songwriting, with the title track offering an intimate view of the performer she loves and the private life they share. Together, the record, memoir and tour bring audiences closer to their shared story and the distinct creative lives within it.
