Synopsis:
Determined to finally move on from her cheating, narcissistic ex, a woman arrives at a support group convinced this is the first step toward a healthier, more evolved version of herself. She promises she will be calm, measured, and just vulnerable enough to seem emotionally mature without revealing anything too embarrassing. She will absolutely not overshare… Within seconds, she overshares.
What begins as a simple introduction quickly spirals into a full emotional avalanche as she says far more than she planned, revealing deeply personal thoughts she normally only admits to herself. Each confession is somehow more revealing than the last. She tries to pivot, to sound insightful and self aware, but the damage is already done. The strangers around her now know an alarming
amount about her inner life.
The room listens closely, responding in ways that feel supportive, but also slightly… unexpected. What she thought would be a simple step toward healing quickly becomes something far more surprising, forcing her to confront the possibility that she may not fully understand the assignment, or the group, at all.
