In a daring first, the Fashion Designers of Latin America (FDLA) is moving its semi-annual runway show from the Mezzanine to the main theatre and inviting everyone to attend. The immersive show will feature 50 models on stage and throughout the audience, showcasing the vibrant work of Dominican fashion designer Giannina Azar. To help set the atmosphere of elegance, local pianist Maria Del Sol will perform live on stage. Presented by FDLA and the United Palace, with the support of Councilwoman Carmen de la Rosa, the Hispanic Federation, and public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts.

Opening September 2 in NYC, the exhibition features richly detailed installations curated by the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center, a collection of one-of-a-kind Snoopy and Woodstock plush dolls dressed in custom designer creations, an exclusive gift shop, and rare archival pieces highlighting the legacy of Charles M. Schulz and his enduring impact on pop culture, fashion, sports, and music.

Summer HD Festival at the Metropolitan Opera

The Met’s 17th Summer HD Festival features five thrilling performances from the company’s Live in HD series of cinema transmissions. The free showings run September 2–7, with approximately 2,500 seats set up in front of the opera house each night. Seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis. No advance tickets or reservations are required.
