VIEWERS have fallen head over high- heels in love with ‘Jerseylicious,’ making it one of the highest-rated series in the network’s history,” said Coleman Smith. “Maybe it’s the big personalities, bold fashion and in-your-face authenticity, but viewers are flocking to ‘The Gatsby’ each week for a lot more than makeovers. There is simply no telling what Olivia, Tracy, Alexa, Gayle and the entire gang will have in store for season three, filled with unpredictable antics and heartwarming friendships.”“We couldn’t be more thrilled with the success of ‘Jerseylicious’ and that Style has picked the show up for season three,” said David Goldberg, Chairman of Endemol North America. “The show’s success is a testimony to the terrific characters that inhabit ‘The Gatsby’ salon and its environs and the producers that bring this highly entertaining show to life.” Season two of “Jerseylicious” has continued to build on the success it notched in its first season as Style’s most-watched freshman series among women 18-34 and women 18-49.
The second season of “Jerseylicious” is set to break all series records for Style and has posted substantial growth over the prior season, including +62% in Households (.68 rtg) and +70% in Women 18-49 (.78 rtg), while it has been averaging over 570,000 total viewers season to date. Most recently, the hit show started off 2011 with a bang when the January 2 episode reached a new zenith with a 1.05 W18-49 rating on Sunday at 8pm, which is not only a series best, but also marked the highest-rated telecast in the network’s history and the first time the network shattered a 1+ rating in its target demo. The action at Central New Jersey’s ‘Gatsby Salon’ is fueled by the ongoing rivalry between Olivia, a young but bold make-up artist who’s still learning the ropes, and Tracy, an uber-confident, established hair stylist who loves battling with Olivia for nearly everything. Sparks and fists flew last season when Olivia started dating Tracy’s ex-boyfriend, and no one can predict if that relationship will continue to cause strife between these two women. While the salon’s mother/daughter management team of Gayle and Christy remain intent on the salon’s ongoing success following an expensive remodel, they must also keep the spirited staff inline.
That group also includes Filippo, the resident hair-washer, intern and self-proclaimed ladies man who has decided to pursue a career in this crazy world, and Gigi, a young hair stylist who is questioning her dream to walk down the aisle with boyfriend Frankie, which could cause problems for the couple. Always present is Alexa, perhaps the tristate area’s most successful bridal makeup artist, who plays Fairy Godmother to her very own team of “Glam Fairies.” And rounding out the group is stylist Anthony, who is back at his own salon but cannot stay away from the fireworks that are always a part of each weekly episode. Three-time Emmy winner Alex Duda is Executive Producer for “Jerseylicious.” The series is produced by Endemol USA. David Goldberg is the Chairman of Endemol North America. Sarah Weidman and Merah Chung are Executive Producers for Style.

Q&A Tracy DiMarco
WHO really started the Jersey style craze? Was in Fran Drescher or Wendy Williams? (Or someone else?)
We (of The Style Network’s “Jerseylicious”) started the “Jersey” style. We made the rules such as no brown and black together, high heels are more fun, leopard print is a must, it is not okay to be anorexic but TANorexic is good! We have also coined some key phrases to live by. For example, “The higher your hair the closer you are to heaven.” - Me, “Never leave home without a smokey eye.” - Olivia, “Always have big, beautiful French tip nails.” - Gigi
2) Who do you admire the most in Hollywood (dead or alive)?
Marilyn Monroe because she was a size 12 yet she was and will always be a sex symbol. The fact that I’m a 6 and people tell me I’m fat is the reason that girls have such shattered body images.
3) What are your dreams and goals beyond starring on “Jerseylicious”?
I may want to pursue a career in acting after “Jerseylicious” is over (since I can be pretty dramatic) but something I always want to be able to do is hair!
4) We like to be matchmakers here at Ouch! Magazine. Who is your biggest Hollywood crush and why?
M biggest Hollywood crush is Paul Walker. I get chills just saying his name! YUM!
5) What tips can you give New Jersey Fashion Week to help them out for next year? Do you think everything was to your liking?
They did a very good job at NJFW but they need to remember to keep it Jersey. I don’t want NJFW to become tooooo NYFW! Remember where we came from!
6) This issue of Ouch! Magazine focuses is your favorite print: “ANIMAL”. What is your favorite animal print and why?
My favorite animal print to wearrrrrr is leopard but my favorite animal print to decorate with is zebra. Leopard is sexier but zebra can go with any color throw pillows.
7) Who do you think is the “Snooki” of “Jerseylicious”? How do you feel about getting compared to that show?
Eww. That’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t even subject Olivia to the disrespect of being compared to that hot mess.
8) Any plans for the future we should know?
I want to find a nice guy to settle down with, get engaged & be happy! That’s all I want. I can’t stand these temporary boyfriends I keep dating.

Q&A GIGI LISCIO
WHO really started the Jersey style craze? Was in Fran Drescher or
Wendy Williams?
(Or someone else?) Definitely Fran Dresher, and by the
way she’s my favorite!!! Her style and hair says it all. Her clothing always
makes a statement by the loud colors and short skirts, and her hair is as
highly teased as it can go!
2) Who do you admire the most in Hollywood (dead or alive)?
The person I admire the most in Hollywood would be Cher. She is such a diva and I love the fact that she wears different wigs all the time! She will always be known for her talent and her unique style.
3) What are your dreams and goals beyond starring on “Jerseylicious”?
My dreams and goals after “Jerseylicious” is to become very successful and to live a happy life. The sky’s the limit and everything that I want I will get. I want to be married someday and I want to have all the finer things in life.

5) What tips can you give New Jersey Fashion Week to help them out for next year? Do you think everything was to your liking?
I think everything went great at New Jersey Fashion Week. Some things I would change would be bringing in other designers with more over the top clothing. That would definitely bring more attraction to the runway show. Also they need more fun hair such as wigs and extensions!
6) This issue of Ouch! Magazine focuses is your favorite print: “ANIMAL”. What is your favorite animal print and why?
My favorite animal print would be zebra because you can add bold colors with it and it still looks good!
7) Who do you think is the “Snooki” of “Jerseylicious”? How do you feel about getting compared to that show?
I would say no one is the Snooki of “Jerseylicious.” We are all very unique and we all have big personalities. Being compared to “Jersey Shore” is ridiculous because our show is so different. Our show focuses on the everyday lives as hairdressers and makeup artists (our career). Also you see parts of all of our personal lives. We are all at different points in our lives and our audience, of all different ages, can relate to a characters on “Jerseylicious.”
8) Any plans for the future we should know?
I’m sure everyone wants to know if I am engaged yet. You will just have to watch Jerseylicious season 3 to see what happens!!!
9) How can readers fan out to you? (Facebook & Twitter links) You can stay in touch with me on Facebook. Look for me at “GiGi from Jerseylicious”! And don’t forget to tune-in to The Style Network every Sunday night at 8pm to see me and the rest of “Jerseylicious” crew!
Q&A BRIELLA CALAFIORE
WHO really started the Jersey style craze? Was in Fran Drescher or Wendy Williams? (Or someone else?)
I believe the Jersey style was started by Fran Drescher. I remember watching “The Nanny,” when I was younger. I always thought to myself how different her style was and how I wanted dress as unique as she did when I grew up.
2) Who do you admire the most in Hollywood (dead or alive)?
Marilyn Monroe. We are both Gemini’s and I live by her words of wisdom. She was an extremely intelligent and beautiful human being.
3) What are your dreams and goals beyond starring on “Jerseylicious”?
My main goal in life is to just be happy.
4) We like to be matchmakers here at Ouch! Magazine. Who is your biggest
Hollywood crush and why?
Jake Gyllenhal. He is so good looking and I love his personality off camera. He is very my type.
5) What tips can you give New Jersey Fashion Week to help them out for next year? Do you think everything was to your liking?
I feel gifted that I was able to do hair at New Jersey Fashion Week. It was a dream come true. I was lucky enough to be part of New Jersey Fashion Week, I don’t feel like it is my place to change anything.
6) This issue of Ouch! Magazine focuses is your favorite print: “ANIMAL”. What is your favorite animal print and why?
My favorite animal print is cow. I think it is very different and people judge cows
because they’re fat. I support peace. Wear cow!
7) Who do you think is the “Snooki” of “Jerseylicious”? How do you feel about getting compared to that show?
I think we all have a little bit of Snooki in us. She’s funny, down to earth, and pretty crazy. I feel like that’s us.
8) Any plans for the future we should know?
My main focus right now is living my life to the fullest, day by day, and just being content. I plan on doing a lot more things in the hair industry. I believe every young girl should chase their dreams.

Q&A ALEXANDRA
WHO really started the Jersey style craze? Was in Fran Drescher or Wendy Williams? (Or someone else?)
I wouldn’t say that one person was a fashion pioneer but its safe to say we collectively never left 1980.
2) Who do you admire the most in Hollywood (dead or alive)?
Andy Warhol
3) What are your dreams and goals beyond starring on “Jerseylicious”?
I would love to do makeup on movies and for me I really hope I can open and branch out my business in ways that I would not be able to if I wasn’t on TV.
4) We like to be matchmakers here at Ouch! Magazine. Who is your biggest Hollywood crush and why?
I would say Chris Martin from coldplay is a great guy. And Ricky Jervais would keep me laughing all day.
5) What tips can you give New Jersey Fashion Week to help them out for next year? Do you think everything was to your liking?
I think the makeup artists and stylists can only work within the parameters of the designers. That being said, they rewarded people unjustly as seen on the season two finale of “Jerseylicious” when Gayle was awarded for “Best Hair & Makeup at New Jersey Fashion Week.” Gail was rewarded for going outside the box. I however wanted to please my designer which is why I kept it more natural. If i had gone more dramatic, I would have gotten in trouble with the designer and that isnt an understood factor when trying to figure out who is the best makeup and hair.
6) This issue of Ouch! Magazine focuses is your favorite print: “ANIMAL”. What is your favorite animal print and why?
I think the peacock is a gorgeous pattern that isn’t really done in clothing. I would be lying though if I didn’t say that zebra is my new black.
7) Who do you think is the “Snooki” of “Jerseylicious”? How do you feel about getting compared to that show?
I dont think we have a Snooki for the sheer fact that none of us have an ob- session with condiments and the show isnt about sleeping with as many latent homosexuals as possible.
8) Any plans for the future we should know?
I would really like to expand personally and professionally. A bigger Glam Factory and maybe a bigger apartment. I would also like to settle down some time soon. Its nice knowing you have other people in your home.

Q&A Olivia Blois Sharpe
WHO really started the Jersey stylecraze? Was in Fran Drescher or Wendy Williams? (Or someone else?)
The Jersey style craze is nothing new. We’ve always been like this. I think other states just finally realized that what they’ve seen in movies about us is really how we are. And if you’re referring to the whole “Guido” stereotype, guidos have been around in Jersey since way back in the day, like my grandpa was a guido. Still is too. Tanning and gaudiness is habit for us and has been for generations. I will say though, that the Jersey style you see today started getting really big when I was a teenager. If you came to the Jersey Shore in 06’ (before there was a show about it) you would have thought you had fallen into another universe. Guys wore Chanel earrings to accommodate their 3inch high spiky hair and crystal covered bras we’re considered classy for girls to wear out. As time has gone on I guess we have gotten more and more outrageous. And that leaves us at where we are now. We always want to be bigger and better in Jersey so every year we got to step up our game to outdo ourselves from the previous year.
2) Who do you admire the most in Hollywood (dead or alive)?
I absolutely love lady Gaga and after going to one of her concerts I love her a million times more! She’s an amazing performer. She gets so into her songs when she sings them and she’s always trying to make positive changes to society. I love that she’s not afraid to take chances and express herself. Also, Michael Jackson was the one person I always wanted to meet more than anyone else! He’s a legend!
3) What are your dreams and goals beyond starring on “Jerseylicious”?
I would love to have some sort of makeup line or something with fashion. Something that girls can afford and feel fabulous and confident wearing!
4) We like to be matchmakers here at Ouch! Magazine. Who is your biggest Hollywood crush and why?
I honestly don’t have a Hollywood crush. There’s no one tan and jacked enough for me.
5) What tips can you give New Jersey Fashion Week to help them out for next year? Do you think everything was to your liking?
It was great! And next year I just hope it can be even bigger and better! Jersey is on the rise! Go big or go home people!
6) This issue of Ouch! Magazine focuses is your favorite print: “ANIMAL”. What is your favorite animal print and why?
I love leopard and cheetah. Those are my favorite colors. They really should be in the rainbow or at least on the color wheel. I love animal prints because they’re beautiful and they are the only non man made print which makes them pretty special.
7) Who do you think is the “Snooki” of “Jerseylicious”?
I don’t feel like any of us are the Snooki of “Jerseylicious.” We are
very different than the cast of “Jersey Shore.” We work and they party. Although I have been called Snooki, compared to Snooki, and mistaken or her.
8) Any plans for the future we should know?
Get ready for another crazy, dramatic, over the top, gaudy, flashy season of “Jerseylicious!”New faces, new places, new drama! And check out my single, the theme song to “Jerseylicious,” which I sing, on iTunes!
