One of the biggest trends amongst Gen Z is the focus on ‘prejuvenation’ rather than anti-ageing. Younger patients are investing in treatments earlier as a form of maintenance, whether that’s collagen-stimulating treatments, medical-grade skincare or laser procedures for acne and pigmentation. We’re also seeing a strong demand for treatments that improve confidence on camera and in real life, while still looking completely natural.

Many Gen Z patients are incredibly informed when they come into clinic. They’re asking about collagen stimulation, polynucleotides, laser resurfacing and regenerative treatments much earlier than we would have seen five or ten years ago. There’s definitely been a shift away from the overly filled aesthetic towards healthier, fresher-looking skin. Treatments such as skin boosters, microneedling, LED therapy and subtle profile balancing are becoming far more popular than dramatic contouring.
