The modern beauty standard is constantly evolving. How would you define it today, and how has your view of beauty shifted over time?

To me, modern beauty is about presence, not perfection. It’s about being connected
to yourself, inside and out. In the past, I associated beauty with how I looked. But
over time, especially after becoming a mother, I've realized beauty is also how you
feel, how you treat yourself, and how grounded you are in your values.

In a world where trends come and go quickly, what drew you to embrace a slower, more intentional approach to beauty and self-care?

I think motherhood played a big part in that. It forced me to slow down, re-evaluate,
and really listen to what my body and mind needed. I used to feel pressure to
constantly keep up with every trend. Now, I focus on what makes me feel strong,
supported, and whole. Even if that means doing less.

What does "beauty on your own terms" mean to you, and how do you incorporate that philosophy into your daily life?

It means showing up as your full self, without filters, without comparison. For me, it’s
wearing less makeup when I want to, saying no when I need rest, and choosing
habits that nourish me instead of chasing quick fixes. It’s about asking,
“What makes me feel good today?” and letting that guide my routine.

Social media often plays a huge role in shaping beauty ideals. How have you
navigated the pressure to conform to these ideals, and what made you decide to step away from that fast-paced cycle?

It’s hard not to compare yourself when everything online looks so perfect. But I’ve
learned to be intentional about what I consume, and even more intentional about
what I post. I want my platform to reflect real life: wellness that’s messy, beauty that’s evolving, and motherhood that’s both exhausting and magical. That honesty helps me stay grounded.

We live in a culture obsessed with instant results. What has embracing a more measured, intentional approach taught you about self-acceptance and long-term wellness?

I’ve learned that true transformation, whether it’s physical, emotional, or mental,
takes time. When I slowed down, I became more compassionate with myself. I
stopped chasing outcomes and started celebrating small, daily progress. That shift
has given me a deeper sense of peace and confidence.

Slowing down can often be seen as counter-cultural in the beauty industry, where fast fixes are marketed daily. How do you reconcile this approach with the modern beauty industry's pressure for quick transformation?

I remind myself that what’s marketed to us is not always what’s healthy for us. I try to be a voice that offers something different…something more sustainable. I want to
build a wellness platform that supports women in building long-term habits, not
chasing unattainable ideals.

In a time when people are constantly striving for 'perfection,' how do you redefine beauty for yourself, and how does that reflect your values of patience and self-care?

Perfection is exhausting. I don’t want to be perfect. I want to be present. I  don’t want to be perfect. I want to be present. I want to feel like myself, even on the hard days. Redefining beauty means showing women that confidence doesn’t come from a product or a filter. It comes from how we treat ourselves, our thoughts, and our bodies.

Has your definition of 'beauty' expanded beyond the physical realm? If so, how
does it now encompass your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being?

Absolutely. After experiencing postpartum depression, I realized beauty has nothing
to do with how you look and everything to do with how you feel. Mental clarity,
emotional resilience, spiritual grounding—that’s where beauty begins. That’s what I
want to share with other women.

What role does intention play in your beauty routine—whether that’s skincare,
makeup, or overall lifestyle choices—and how does it connect to your deeper sense
of self?
Intention is everything. I don’t do things just because they’re trending. I do them
because they support my energy and well-being. Whether it’s choosing clean
skincare, carving out time for movement, or simply stepping outside for fresh air, I try
to be mindful with my choices.

What advice would you give to women who feel overwhelmed by the rapid pace of beauty standards and who want to embrace a slower, more mindful approach to feeling good in their own skin?

Start small. Find one or two habits that truly make you feel good. Whether that’s
walking in nature, journaling, or doing a 10-minute stretch. Don’t worry about doing
everything perfectly. Slow beauty is about consistency, not speed. Give yourself
permission to grow at your own pace.

Who or What is your favorite beauty influence and Why?

I admire women who lead with authenticity. Oprah has always inspired me. Not just
for her wisdom, but for the way she encourages women to live with intention. I also
love women in the wellness space who are open about their journeys, like Naomi
Watts or Miranda Kerr. Their routines feel real, not performative.

Do you have any plans that your followers should look out for this and for 2026?

Yes! I’m working on launching a wellness platform specifically designed for women,
with personalized fitness programs, nutrition guidance, and access to mental health
support. It’s something I wish I had during my own transition into motherhood. I can’t
wait to share more with my community soon!
