BEST and the Worst Parts of attending Pop Sugar playground :
I attended both days and I have to say its pretty fantastic if you are a health nut. I am fairly into beauty and wellness so this was right up my alley. The best thins were you get tons of free samples from booths, you get up close and personal work-outs with professionals, you can wear comfy clothes like leggings and flip-flops and get away with it. I have lived in New York City for a number of years and Flip- Flops are never a great idea. They have great food & clothing sponsors for food if you like Wendy's well your in luck! They gave fresh salad every day for free. If you wanted other others they have other food trucks for seafood lovers such as shrimp. V.i.P selections offers are amazing I heard you get a very great gift bag and services like tarot readings, acupressure, drinks, etc.
The panels are very fun and it's like you are talking to a friend. Not intense pretty inspiring if you can make it in the long lines to get a seat it's even better.
This event is best served with friends. I suggest getting someone to walking and attend panels plus work-out with. I saw many groups together just having the best times. So this is a great package type f event get a few girls together and enjoy.
Not judgy everyone was amazingly nice and uncaring about other looks or fashion. It's very calming and healing to be around a group such as this I had a great time.
The Worst things:
I must say even though there is an app. The schedule is very confusing. You never really realize where to go and what to do until its way to late then the event is over. As far as panels it is first come first serve until you are a V.I.P otherwise you will be standing in lines for an hour or so but at least you can wear sneakers. Too many selfies taking... Plan to be taking a photo in strangers post even if you don't want to. I think people to ask before they take your photo I am personally not interested in being apart of a starnegrs post.
The PopShop is Really Pricey. If you have $100-125 to spend on an unbranded tee go for it.
Mandy Moore, Camila Mendes, Milo Ventimiglia, Amanda Seyfried, and many more. Day one of the two-day festival featured dynamic panel conversations, inspiring workout classes, activations from some of today’s hottest lifestyle brands, and a giant “playground” where festival goers could hang out, swing and pose under a POPSUGAR rainbow.
