HarperPop, the Estate of Mick Rock, and Morrison Hotel Gallery hosted a packed-house VIP celebration in New York City to honor the release of MICK ROCK’S ROCKY HORROR: A Behind the Scenes Look at the Cult Classic, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Guests filled the sleek Seven24 Collective Private Membership Club in the Gansevoort Hotel as it transformed into a glitter-soaked homage to Mick Rock’s world of glam and rebellion. A curated collection of his rarely-seen Rocky Horror photographs adorned the walls, as models, musicians, and cultural icons toasted the book’s release beneath red lights and a disco haze.

Music by The Misshapes, Miss Guy, and Dovemother kept the floor alive, while a special live performance by Michael T & The Rocky Horror Show Troupe turned the night into a full-blown rock-and-roll revue. Guests sipped “Riff Raff and "The Strange Journey” signature cocktails and posed for photos beside blow-ups of Mick’s iconic portraits.
