Can you tell us more about your rise to fame. How long have you been an actress? How were you discovered?

Oh, gosh! You’ve clearly been talking to my mother! Don’t believe a word! I’m far from famous, but I actually started in the business when I was a toddler. I was born in Los Angeles and got started in commercials as a kiddo. It evolved into film, tv, theatre, radio and voiceover from there! I’m still very much pounding the pavement, and am loving the ride.

ou have an exciting new show named "Florida Man" on Netflix. Please fill us in on your role.

I play Kaitlin Fox, an ambitious Orlando news anchor who is surrounded by shady characters in Florida, and when she catches wind of nefarious activity, is determined to find a story to change her career that ultimately threatens to derail everyone’s criminal plans. The series has an incredible cast including Edgar Ramírez, Abbey Lee, Anthony LaPaglia, Clark Gregg, Paul Schneider, Emory Cohen, Lex Scott Davis, Otmara Marrero, Sibongile Mlambo, Michael Esper, Isabel Gameros and Isaiah Johnson. It was created by the amazing Donald Todd and is produced by Aggregate Films. The entire cast and crew were a dream to work with and I can’t wait for everyone to see it!

You are also in another show called "Bad Monkey " on Apple Tv. What this about and what's your role?

Bad Monkey is from Bill Lawrence and will be on Apple TV+ starring Vince Vaughn. I play Heather, a Miami meteorologist who gets mixed up with some shifty characters in Florida. No spoilers so I’ll leave it at that! Stay tuned!

How do you decide whether a role is for you or not? Is there a role or a subject that you just would never portray?

I have yet to run into a role that would be a hard “no” for me. If it is a challenge, I’m excited about the material and it’s a team I’d love to work with, it’s easy to say yes!

What's the hardest thing about being an actress?

There are always new mindset challenges that you don’t see coming. While it’s a difficult part of the business, it’s honestly one of the most rewarding because when you make those personal breakthroughs and see growth in yourself as a person while pursuing the thing you love, it makes it that much more meaningful. I do my best to remind myself to focus on my love of the craft and recognize it’s a business that has nothing to do with my worth. I think the biggest trap is seeking validation from the external wins. That’s an inside job.

You are a California girl so what do you consider your personal style to be? Who are your favorite brands/designers that you are obsessed with right now?

I’d say I lean toward classic, feminine and fun pieces. I love renting pieces from Nuuly and my favorite brands are currently Hutch, Maeve and Avec Les Filles.

What's your beauty routine like?

I love ZO beauty products thanks to my friend and facialist Carly at Muse in Atlanta. She completely changed my skincare routine and I’ve seen a huge difference in my skin!

Do you have any other projects lined up that you liked to share?

Up next, I’ll be in Cinnamon opposite Damon Wayans and Pam Grier on Tubi this summer!
