Get Ready For Singer Mandy Rose

Get Ready For Singer Mandy Rose

Your journey from nightclub dancer to recording artist under Tommy Brown is incredibly inspiring. Could you share with us the pivotal moments that led you to pursue a career in music?

The pivotal moment for me was when I decided to leave the club. I had no concrete plan, but I knew it was time for a change. My passion for music was always there, simmering beneath the surface, and quitting the club was the push I needed to fully pursue it. Tommy Brown came into my life at just the right moment. He posted an open verse challenge on Instagram, and I decided to take a chance. To my surprise, Tommy reached out and flew me to LA. That was the moment everything changed for me. It felt like the universe was aligning, and I had to seize the opportunity.

“Baddest in the Club Hun” is described as an anthem of empowerment. What inspired you to write this song, and what message do you hope listeners take away from it?

“Baddest in the Club Hun” is all about reclaiming confidence and feeling like a boss. I wanted to create a track that celebrates women who own their power and embrace their strength unapologetically. When listeners hear it, I hope they feel empowered and ready to conquer whatever comes their way. It’s about being proud of who you are and not letting anyone dim your shine.

How has working with Tommy Brown influenced your artistic direction and sound?

Working with Tommy has been a game-changer. He’s really encouraged me to build confidence in my rapping and has pushed me to explore different genres and cultures. We’ve traveled the world, collaborating with various artists, which has broadened my musical horizons. Tommy’s guidance has helped me find my unique rap flow and style, and I’m grateful for his mentorship.

How do you approach creating music that crosses genre boundaries while maintaining your unique style?

When I step into the booth, I love experimenting with melodies and rhythms that are outside the box. Mixing rap with singing and trying new things keeps my music fresh and exciting. Sometimes, making mistakes leads to something incredible. It’s all about being creative and staying true to myself while exploring new sounds.

Advocacy for the LGBTQI+ community is an important part of your platform. How has your personal journey influenced your advocacy efforts, and why is this cause significant to you?

Advocacy for the LGBTQI+ community is close to my heart because it’s such a big part of my own journey. As a teenager, I struggled with understanding my sexuality, and finding confidence in that area was liberating. I want to help others build their confidence and embrace who they are. It’s all about supporting each other and creating a safe space for everyone to express themselves freely.

How do you navigate the digital landscape to connect with your audience and build your brand?

I love connecting with my fans through live sessions and social media interactions. Engaging with them personally and responding to comments makes a huge difference. I also enjoy creating videos and reels, asking fans what they want to see. It’s all about building a genuine connection and being present for my audience.

Who are some of your biggest musical influences, and how have they shaped your approach to songwriting and performance?

I’m a big fan of Charlie XCX. She has a similar audience, and her approach to music is unique and ahead of its time. Nikki Minaj is another major influence—her flows, characters, and personas have inspired me to take on different personalities in my music. Both of these artists have shaped my songwriting and performance style, pushing me to be bold and creative.

As an artist, what do you consider to be the most challenging aspect of the music industry today, and how do you navigate those challenges?

The music industry is incredibly competitive, with many people vying for the same spotlight. The biggest challenge is finding your unique sound and movement, discovering your own lane. I’m lucky to have an amazing team that supports me, and together, we work hard to stand out and stay true to my vision.

Looking ahead, what are your goals and aspirations for the future of your music career? Are there any specific projects you’re particularly excited about?

My biggest goal is to start touring locally and nationally, incorporating choreography and performing on bigger stages. I’m excited about the new music I’ve been working on and my upcoming EP, which has been in the works for a while. I can’t wait to share it with my fans and continue growing as an artist
