People have become more aware of traction alooecia, and how it affects the hair and scalp. Traction Alopecia-a form of acquired hair loss that results from prolonged or repetitive tension on the scalp hair. There are so many weave techniques to choose from now that are safe for your hair.

Yes, cotton material rubs the hair out.
How often should you condition your hair? Can you over-condition?
Condition your hair each time you shampoo. It is very important to follow the manufacturer's instructions. If the PH of the conditioner is too high it could damage your hair if left on too long. Over conditioning can affect any hair type, it is called hygral fatigue.
Do you think braids are the best way to wear your hair if you're trying to grow it?
Braids are great as long as they are not too tight and not left in the hair longer than 6-8 weeks.
