AUGUST 30 – SEPTEMBER 12 AT FILM FORUM SPIELBERG

SPIELBERG, a two-week, 20-film festival of blockbusters by the titan American director Steven Spielberg, will run from Friday, August 30 through Thursday, September 12 at Film Forum

The series includes such summer classics as the benchmark blockbuster thriller JAWS, nine-time Oscar nominated sci-fi fable E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL, and the groundbreaking man vs. nature theme park parable JURASSIC PARK – all in 35mm. 

Spielberg’s theatrical feature directorial debut THE SUGARLAND EXPRESS, starring Goldie Hawn, and the first collaboration with composer John Williams, who has scored all but five of Spielberg's films since, will run in new 4K restoration. 

RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, winner of 5 Academy Awards and the first Lucas-Spielberg collaboration, the next two beloved INDIANA JONES movies, cat-and-mouse sleeper-hit DUEL (Spielberg’s made-for-TV debut), monumental Holocaust drama SCHINDLER’S LIST, epic WWII masterpiece SAVING PRIVATE RYANCLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KINDA.I. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, and more will screen.
