Romantic Comedy, See You Next Christmas sounds like it will be my favorite movie to watch in 2021. Tell me more about your role in the movie.

I play Natalie who when we meet her is a grad student studying psychology. She wants love but is unwilling to put her own judgements aside. What is so great about the movie is that it takes place over a number of years so you really get to see her grow into herself. She goes from being really stubborn to learning when to admit she's wrong which is such an important lesson to learn and so necessary in any kind of relationship.

Where did you film this and how was it on set?

We filmed the movie in Los Angeles. It was a great experience. The ensemble was such a treat to work with and the writer/director Christine Weatherup also acted with me in the movie. It was amazing how she juggled it all and she and the producers created such a nice environment for the entire cast and crew. When we filmed the last scene apparently right when Christine said

"That's a wrap" I screamed "Noooo!" I think that interaction helps paint how much fun I had making this movie.

How important is it for you to bring joyful movies to people today now that we are under more stress than ever?

I think it's SO important to bring joyful movies to people today. I know I certainly need them! I especially tend to turn to romantic comedies. They just always manage to make me feel better when I'm having a bad day.

Name your favorite romantic comedy movies and give us at least your top 3.

I love them all! So this is a tough question. But my top 3 are "Something's Gotta Give," "Bridget Jones's Diary," and  one that people might not remember but has a soft spot in my heart is "One Fine Day" starring George Clooney and Michelle Pfeiffer.

I hope "See You Next Christmas" becomes one of those romantic comedies that people keep coming back to for the humor, heart and the holiday spirit.

What's your favorite thing you love about the winter holidays?

I love the food and quality time with my family. I have a nephew who loves to eat and he is now old enough to eat some of the things the adults will be enjoying so I'm really looking forward to watching him enjoy all the home cooked meals.

What keeps you inspired?

Great movies, shows and books keep me inspired but also my loved ones. I am surrounded by artists who are so good at what they do that they never fail to inspire me to do my best too.

What other projects do you have lined up for 2022?

I was fortunate enough to play parts on two great shows, "Barry" on HBO and "9-1-1" on Fox.

Where can fans follow you via social media?

My instagram is @lizzguest and my twitter is the same (but instagram is mainly my jam) so I hope to see you on the gram!

I'll be posting behind the scenes photos of "See You Next Christmas" so I hope you enjoy those as well as our movie which was truly a labor of love. Happy holidays everyone!
