Velvet.co and ÁWET Join Forces to Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with Unique Pop-Up Experience at NYC flagship, Livewear, in Support of Make Us Visible Non-Profit

Velvet.Co, an AAPI Woman-owned international PR and marketing firm and BIPOC-owned brand ÁWET New York will come together to host an immersive pop-up experience in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, at ÁWET New York’s New York City flagship, Livewear. With a collective mission of bridging cultures and communities together, this event will allow guests to experience the rich diversity of Asian fashion, beauty, art, and culture. A percentage of the proceeds will go to the event’s philanthropic partner Make Us Visible, a grassroots non-profit dedicated to being a preventative measure to Anti-Asian American violence through education and community building.

Visitors can expect to find a diverse range of offerings including fashion, beauty, accessories, and even an art installation by Juno Shen, all reflecting the unique perspectives and talents of the AAPI community. The pop-up will feature curated products and contributions of AAPI brands: MERGE, VINNPATARARIN, Apede Mod, WÀNGDA, Lost In Echo, JEOI6, Empty Behavior, Private Policy, Unawares, NEIWAI, Maison de hoe, and 77TH.
