Do I need to be vaccinated to attend NYCC 2021?
This is probably the top-of-mind question for the majority of people as such is the time we live in.
The answer: yes. The organizers behind NYCC are requiring that all individuals ages 12 and older must be fully vaccinated in order to attend the event. On top of that, you’re going to need to provide proof of vaccination (i.e., your vaccination card) in order to get in.
Anyone under the age of 12 needs to provide a negative COVID test—either a negative rapid antigen test six hours prior to the time they go or a PCR lab one taken three days beforehand.
Do I need to wear a mask for NYCC 2021?
Yes, you do need to wear a mask despite your vaccination status at Comic Con this year. Face coverings need to be worn at all times apart from eating and drinking.
