Wasted! Film Screening at Megu

 Megu and their Chef de Cuisine Dave Rashty will be hosting an intimate screening of WASTED! The Story of Food Waste. This documentary, produced by renowned chef Anthony Bourdain, covers the topic of food waste and how people can be more mindful of the way they purchase, cook and consume food. 

The event will feature a panel of professional chefs including Marc Oshima, co-founder of AeroFarms, Derek Wagner, chef at Nicks on Broadway, RI, Miriam Garron, chef at Food Network, and Will Horowitz, chef at Ducks Eatery. They will answer questions after the screening while attendees enjoy some little bites.

The food will be provided by Chefs Collaboration's NYC local leader David Rashty of Megu, John McCarthy of OKA, and Jake Rojas of Tallulah's in Rhode Island.

David Rashty is keen on fixing the broken food system and is taking advantage of his influence as a local leader of Chefs Collaboration. He is hosting the screening at the restaurant he works at, Megu, located in 355 West 16thStreet, NYC.

ABOUT MEGU
