What can you tell anyone who wants to try to win a reality tv competition? How was it doing the X FACTOR UK off camera?
It is definitely a huge platform to be a part of and you can get great exposure from these types of shows, which is amazing. Sometimes though, it may not be the best exposure so it all depends how you come across on TV.

Why do you think many boy bands break up? How was it with Overload?

From my personal experience, we split up due to two of the other boys making another band behind my back which was terrible. I think when you are in each others' faces all the time it can be quite intense and a lot of the time you have a difference of opinion on a lot of things

How are you different now since leaving the band?
The transitions going to a soloist is something I’ve enjoyed doing as now everything I want to do I can I don’t have to run ideas through the rest of the boys and can finally put my edge to the music I want to create.

What is your music fandom like?
My music fandom is so crazy and so cute.  They have always stuck by me no matter what, from growing up with Overload to helping me transition to my solo career.

Do you write your own songs?
I do write my own material which is great. I can put everything I want into my own songs and the emotions can be from my personal experiences.

Do you have any input on how the music videos are directed?
Of course! All video concepts are from me or I brainstorm ideas with my team on what' best and what fits the song at that particular time.

Is there any type of music you would never do and why?
I think heavy metal is something I'd never touch just purely because I’m not cool enough to rock out and go crazy like that. I'd be getting crazy headaches the amount they shake their heads around

What song can you not stop singing in your head currently?
Hearts & Colours - Lighthouse is a personal favorite of mine to sing at the moment.  It's a very well structured song and has a lovely melody.

What do you look for in a girl?
I don’t like to be too picky with certain hair color, etc.  Just someone I can have a laugh with who understands my line of work and that I can trust to be there with me through thick and thin.

How can fans reach out to you via social media and do you read comments yourself?
Yes, I think that's the biggest part of social media for me as a singer — to interact as much as possible with the people that make it happen for me.  All my fans can reach me @JordiWhitworth on all social media.

Last words for your fans?
You don’t have to start young to achieve your dreams. You can be any age if you put your mind to it.  I love you all and can’t thank you all enough for the ongoing support.
